Why we make books
Some people need the actual words, said plainly. A hint or a tone of voice is not enough.
Our books put those words on the page. They say what to do and what to say, in plain language, so the reader can use them straight away.
The first book is for kids. More will follow, for different ages and different moments.
From the founder
I make the books I wish I had. It's that simple.
My first book, What to Say When You Don't Know What to Say, is written for children to use with other children. Some children do not know what to say. They need the literal words.
Starting phrases are the unwritten social script, written down. The book's goal is confidence, built while having fun with straight and silly phrases. The paperbacks are printed on paper you can write on, so kids can add the phrases that work for them.
